I Never Really Cared for March

March 7, 2011 § 1 Comment

It’s March.

This worries me.

One week down, and nothing TERRIBLE has happened. Three weeks to go.

March 2009: One blown-out knee. Three months of walking with a cane. Twelve weeks on crutches. Six months of physical therapy. One whole leg that’s never been quite the same.

March 2010: One electrical fire. One night spent in car. One condemned building. One frantic move into a hotel. Eight weeks living in hotel. Three to six months of jumping at every little sound before we finally relaxed and slept through the night.

March 2011: What have you got waiting, you bastard? Going for the trifecta? Yes. I thought so. I have your self-fulfilling prophecy right here whenever you need it.

It’s April 2. Suck it March! (Though you did prove your mettle with the earthquake, tsunami, and continued nuclear meltdown in Japan. So thanks for that, asshole.)
